Men Need to Learn About ‘Street Etiquette’

Hi Kings & Queens!

Time for the Blog of the Week (BOTW)! I first ran into this men’s fashion blog when I saw their featured article: The Black Ivy. I was blown away by their style and the phenomenal story that the photography told. There’s NOTHING like a man with real style. Men are visual creatures, but women are too! We can see if you do or don’t have a sense of fashion! It’s something to be said about a man who knows what looks good on him and then confidently allows his personality to shine through. And as we all know, confidence is sexy. Take a look at the pics below…What do you think? Is it too much to you? Are there elements that you like and others that you don’t?

These men are SHARP.

I personally love their sense of style for the most part. Not sure if I can get down with the rolled up pants and rings on every finger though. That’s a little too feminine for my taste on a heterosexual male…But to each his own! I really love to see men embrace fashion. It’s refreshing! I know if I saw a man with style, I would be instantly impressed and inclined to tell him so! Here’s what Joshua and Travis over at ‘Street Etiquette’ had to say to the shoe company Stacy Adams about personal style:

Here are a few trends I’d like to see more men try. I challenge you to add one or two styles to your wardrobe fellas and see what response you get from the ladies. They’ll be speechless…Until you stop to chat them up, hehe.

Try Color! Don't be afraid to branch outside of the basics.

Go old school vintage. Your Grandfathers were considered romantic for a reason. They looked like gentlemen.

Flowers aren't just for ladies. Too much? Try a bold tribal print instead!

I LOVE a man in a turtleneck or luxurious sweater...I think it's so sophisticated and sexy. The hat, vest and shoes gives it that extra ''something".

The cut, color & style of these shoes are beyond impressive. A man with shoes like these has impeccable taste.

Even a simple outfit can be transformed with a few accessories and some personal style.

Don't shy away from jewelry fellas. A few subtle bracelets peeking out can make a BOLD statement.

And last but not least: Don't forget to wear CONFIDENCE. Trust me...It's the best thing you can add to your wardrobe.

About ‘Street Etiquette

Founded in 2008, Street Etiquette is a style blog that approaches personal style from an urban perspective. With sartorial influences stretching over many areas and eras of fashion, owners Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, each just twenty years old, combine to publish a truly unique vision of fashionable menswear. Among other accolades, Street Etiquette has been featured in magazines such as GQ and Complex, ranked Best Men’s Style Blog by the Guardian UK, and named among “40 Bloggers Who Really Count” by the London Times.

These two make fashion look easy.
